Well, this is slightly off topic. When you saw the title, you probably though it will be about boxing. Well the first half is. I am a big fan of the sport. Not to mention, I am Pacquaio fan and it's not because I am Filipino. He's a great fighter, one of the most exciting ones I've ever seen. His quickness and strength is amazing. And now he is going to fight Juan Manuel Marquez, who is also an amazing fighter. He's one of Pacquaio's greatest foes, who can counter attack Manny's aggression. The thing is, Marquez is now older. Do you think he can handle Pacquaio? Well, maybe. I haven't really seen a lot of Marquez's recents fights, so I could not tell. Pacquaio has improved a lot since his last bout with Marquez. However, because of their last two bouts were so close, it's quite hard to tell. Which makes me well geared up for the fight. Hopefully, it would be something like the 'Thriller in the Manila' and not like Return of the Jedi. (Even though Jedi was good, it didn't live up to Empire.)
But onto the subject of film and cinematography. As some of you may be aware for the build up of the fight. HBO produces a documentary series called 24/7. The show is well shot and well edited. The cinematography is fantastic. It's one of the reasons why I watch this series. Although, in the past series, I did enjoy the Mayweather camp's family disfunction. You didn't get to see it in this series, because there is no Mayweather in sight. But it does show the dedication and hard work that these fighters go through. It's very interesting to see, how a working class sport like boxing, can be extravagant and can change the lives of one person. To see what I'm talking about, I've putted down the first episode below.
Tell me what you think about the 24/7 series? But for you fight fans, how will this end? I say late knockout or Unanimous Decision to.......
.... Pacquaio.
