Canon Pro Solutions 2011 Expo

Early in the week, I attended the Canon Pro Solution Expo in Islington.  The expo was alright, nothing wowed me, but the place was very formative.

I went to just two seminars; Philip Bloom and Lara Jade.

Lara Jade looked at how you can turn photography into a business, of course I applied this to film/video.

Philip Bloom taught how to do time lapse with the Canon DSLRs and HDR cameras.

Although, I would say I haven't learnt anything new.  If this was me a year and half ago, I would be going crazy with my note pad.  It's not bad, if you are starting off and want to gain knowledge of the industry.

It's all about practice and marketing yourself.

However, the event itself is good if you want to try out or buy gear.  I am for sure, I will be going next year, hopefully to buy a EF 24-70mm L USM.
